Who We Are


My name is Charles Whatley and our service is called "What a Night - Entertainment".    We are focused on providing our services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.



We started the company about 12 years ago as a Video Service, we were called WiseOwl Video Services.  We filmed weddings, created special event videos, training videos, and local commercials.  Our favorite was always the wedding videos.  Often we were asked if we could provide (or knew someone who could) background music.  One thing led to another and before long we were doing video, music and MC duties.  Several years ago two events crossed paths:  a downturn in the economy and HD.  The two were not very compatible.  We were looking at $30,000 to upgrade our video equipment at the same time Brides were looking to cut costs.  The video business slowed and we shifted our focus to the entertainment side... and had a blast doing it.  We still shot videos for our clients but not as a stand alone service.  We love to create and incorporate personal clips, your own music videos, and photo montages in to your event.  

Over the years we have worked with many brides and wedding planners and we have really enjoyed it.  We have constantly upgraded our skills, knowledge and equipment.
Just recently, we decided to change our name to a more appropriate one...thus  "What a Night - Entertainment" became our banner.  With that came a new facebook page www.facebook.com/WhatanightEntertainment and this web site.
